Q: How do we book you for our wedding photography?

A: Once we have spoken or corresponded and you feel you would like to book me, all you have to do is fill in a booking form which I will give to you in a wedding pack and send me a deposit of £100 to secure your date.

Q: How long do you stay at our wedding

A: If you have booked me for the all day coverage package my normal operational hours are 9 – 12 hours. It all depends on what there is to take pictures of, I tend not to leave till I feel like I have got all the shots there is to take.

Q: Do you carry backup gear?

A: I have backup cameras and when taking pictures my camera automatically creates a backup of your images.

Q: How far will you travel and is there a charge?

A: I’m a UK travel photographer based in Cambridgeshire covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire, London, Norfolk & Suffolk. There are no additional travel charges for these locations.

If you live outside of these counties or want to hire me internationally, ask me for a quote. Please note I regularly shoot all over the country and in a year it’s common for me to take pictures in the Peak District one week and the next in Bristol.

Q: Do we need to feed you?

A: Food is appreciated, as you can understand I will be with you for a long time. I don’t need to sit down at a table and it’s ideal for me to eat when your guests are eating. Other than that, I’m a vegetarian

Q: How long will it take for us to see our images after the wedding?

A: This all depends on how busy I am at the time of your wedding but I normally advise one week to three weeks.

Q: Do you photograph group shots?

A: I understand that most couples don’t want to spend a lot of time on formal / group shots. My ethos is to do them well, but make sure they are done as quickly and efficiently as they can be done.

As a rule of thumb, I allow 3 mins per group formal. 6 – 8 formals is a balanced amount of shots – but some people want more, and some want fewer. I always greatly appreciate being given a list of required formals before the wedding day and often I get the help of the bridal party to help me gather guests.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes. I am fully insured with professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Q: How long have you been doing wedding photography?

A: 2017 will be my twelfth year of weddings!
